By accessing or using HireLocal, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
• Will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform.

HireLocal is an online marketplace that connects workers, employers, businesses, service providers, and customers. HireLocal facilitates these connections but is not an employer, staffing agency, contractor, broker, or party to agreements made between users unless specifically stated.

Users are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
• Keeping account information current.
• All activity occurring under their account.

HireLocal reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.

Users agree NOT to:

• Provide false or misleading information.
• Post fraudulent jobs or services.
• Impersonate another person or business.
• Harass or threaten other users.
• Upload malicious software.
• Violate intellectual property rights.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform.
• Circumvent security features.
• Engage in unlawful or fraudulent activities.

Employers are responsible for ensuring that job postings are accurate and lawful.

Service providers are responsible for ensuring that service descriptions, pricing, qualifications, and availability are accurate.

HireLocal does not guarantee employment, contracts, bookings, or business opportunities.

Payments may be processed through trusted third-party payment providers.

HireLocal may charge service fees, subscription fees, or transaction fees as described on the Platform.

Users are responsible for any taxes associated with their transactions.

Contracts entered into between workers, employers, businesses, customers, and service providers are solely between those parties.

HireLocal is not responsible for:

• Performance of work.
• Quality of services.
• Missed deadlines.
• Payment disputes.
• Breach of contract.

Users may leave reviews based on genuine experiences.

Reviews must not contain:

• False statements.
• Defamatory content.
• Hate speech.
• Threats.
• Spam.
• Offensive language.

HireLocal reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.

Users retain ownership of content they upload.

By uploading content, users grant HireLocal a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, store, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Platform.

The HireLocal name, logo, trademarks, software, design, graphics, and content are the property of HireLocal USA or its licensors.

Users may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or reproduce any part of the Platform without written permission.

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

HireLocal may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Fraud.
• Illegal activity.
• Abuse of the Platform.
• Repeated policy violations.
• Non-payment of required fees.
• Security concerns.

HireLocal provides the Platform on an "as available" and "as is" basis.

We do not guarantee:

• Employment opportunities.
• Business success.
• Continuous availability.
• Error-free operation.
• Compatibility with every device.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HireLocal USA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to HireLocal during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HireLocal USA, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising out of:

• Their use of the Platform.
• Their violation of these Terms.
• Their violation of applicable law.
• Their infringement of another party's rights.

HireLocal may integrate with third-party providers, including payment processors, mapping services, analytics, messaging, authentication, and other services.

HireLocal is not responsible for the policies or actions of third-party providers.

HireLocal may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

We may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Before initiating legal action, users agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation.

If a dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be submitted to mediation or binding arbitration where permitted by law, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
